InfoComm 2022: LynTec to Introduce RPC Line of Power Control Solutions

LynTec, a leading manufacturer of innovative power control solutions for professional audio, video and lighting (AVL) systems, has announced that it will showcase its award-winning line of power control products and field tested in booth W2939 at InfoComm 2022 in Las Vegas. The company will showcase its RPC family of power control solutions, Lighting Control Panel (LCP) series, Narrow Profile Power Panelboards and Xtend Power Control (XPC) series.

All of LynTec’s power control solutions come from the patented and award-winning RPC family of panels. The suite of power control options includes RPC motorized circuit breaker panels with 30 to 84 controllable circuit breakers per panel, RPCR electrical relay panels supporting eight to 64 relays per panel, and the rack-mounted relay panel NPAC. From the LynTec GUI, users can select the protocol for each zone as well as remotely configure, troubleshoot, control and monitor status on existing networks from any connected computer or handheld smart device . The system can send alert notifications via SMS or e-mail to warn of panel abnormalities.

The LCP Series intelligently handles lighting and video power demands and is fully self-contained with an integrated web browser-based interface, mobile control app, astronomical timer, and contact closure inputs for sensor control. The LCP can also interface with any third-party control system that uses DMX, sACN, HTTP or Telnet protocols, the same feature set as the patented RPC series. It adds several key innovations to the company’s innovative panel options. The controller electronics have been removed from the panel and mounted in a standalone 12×12 enclosure. First, it increases installation flexibility and reduces wall space requirements, and second, the power supply has been relocated to the main panel box, eliminating the need for sidecars. Therefore, the maximum width of a standard NEMA 1 enclosure is 20 inches.

LynTec Narrow Profile Panelboards allow system designers to create a custom power control system optimized for the available space. It is ideal for industries, stadiums, performance spaces and mega churches with robust AVL requirements and unique infrastructure requirements. Customers can mix and match the Narrow Profile Panels with LynTec’s leading line of full-featured power control panels within the same network on a single interface. From a single IP address, customers can configure, control, and monitor all of their AVL sequences or controllable lighting zones across the entire facility with incredibly affordable ease and price.

Also on the stand, LynTec will showcase its XPC series of remote relay modules. XPC expands beyond the traditional scope of the company’s RPC and RPCR relay panels and motorized circuit breakers. Encased in a metal cube, XPC modules can be placed anywhere: in the rack, on the rig, behind line arrays or anywhere else the equipment is. Simply connect the module to a power source and the network and plug in any device that needs customizable power control through LynTec’s IP-based GUI.

The family includes the XRM 20 20 Amp Relay Module with two independent relays to control the two integrated duplex outlets; the 30-XRM 30 Relay Module with a single relay switch that controls a single 30A L5-30 outlet; a 1RU rackmount XRS 20 rack sequencer powered by a 20 amp circuit to control three separate duplex outlets with independent relay switches for onboard sequencing; and a rack-mounted vertical XRS 80 rack sequencer strip, which can handle up to four 20-amp circuits that feed four matching duplexes, each with its own relay switch to provide on-board control. Additionally, the series includes the XPC standalone controller, which brings all the capabilities and functionality of the popular and proven RPC controller into a standalone 1RU rackmount enclosure.
