Enter the new KNX Push Button Pro T for more energy efficiency and hygiene
The KNX Push Button Pro was awesome in 2019. Not long has passed, but times have certainly changed. Schneider Electric has kept pace with the ever-changing smart building market, not to mention the hectic pace of today’s unpredictable public health environment, with its advanced all-in-one smart switch featuring a range of customizable features and , new, one in temperature sensor and one contactless mode. Stake? Energy saving and occupant protection against infectious diseases. Part of the SpaceLogic KNX product line, Push Button Pro T is designed to easily integrate into residential and commercial smart building networks.
Take out the thermostat, not the temperature control, out of the room
Controlling the temperature in the room requires a temperature sensor in the room, usually next to a door. In KNX, this is often a combined push-button / thermostat device. Additional shutters and push button switches, but without thermostats, are usually installed in a room for added comfort and convenience. In public areas that are accessible to the public, you may not want people to be able to adjust the thermostat. Now with KNX Push Button Pro T you can control the temperature from a Multitouch Pro (in the Facility Manager office, for example) or from a phone, but not from the room itself. And better temperature control leads to greater energy savings.
Non-contact control reduces contact with potentially contaminated surfaces
Touchless door openers, soap dispensers and faucets are nothing new and have proven their worth in the commercial sector. With the pandemic driving demand for even more contactless technologies, Schneider Electric is once again ensuring that life is active by bringing contactless technology to the KNX Push Button Pro. The new contactless mode of the KNX Push Button Pro T reacts to the predefined gesture as a horizontal or vertical swipe to trigger a previously defined function.
The same sophisticated design to beautify any room
KNX Push Button Pro T still looks great. The design is flat and the interface is elegant. Individual touch function areas (users can choose up to four and customize their own) are indicated by modern illuminated icons that shine through the translucent surface. In night mode, the intensity of the illuminated icons is reduced. In silent mode, the panel goes into standby and does not turn on until a user approaches.
